The London Eye Mystery is a novel where the main character has Asperger's, it's a thriller and accessible for the average 10 year old.
The Curious incident of the dog in the nightime is aimed more at teenagers.

Freaks Geeks and Asperger's syndrome by Luke Jackson is non-fiction and written by a teenager with AS.

Ok, then get that one for you to read.
Have you come across 'All cats have Asperger's syndrome' ? It's one of our favourites.

I haven't actually had a chance to read that yet, 10 yr old DD liked it. (I'd bought it for her because she can be a bit less than understanding about her brother sometimes and I try to educate her without sitting down and lecturing her, lol) She's lent it to a friend with AS who's read it and also liked it and her younger sister is about to read it as well. It's part of a set, they've read them all - so it must be ok or she'd not have read the next two and passed them on.

oh btw that's Asperger's as well - I'd just keep that bit dead simple, Asperger's is a kind of ASD, just like cat is a kind of mammal, a jaffa cake is a kind of biscuit (insert your own comparison, lol) so they're not exactly the same but they have some things the same... leave it at that, he might quit elike going, well I don't do that, but I do that, I know DS does, lol
