A friend has mentioned naet treatment as being very effective whendealing with autism, particularly those children with digestive problems and food allergies.

She has recommended the book "say goodbye to autism" now i'm not for one moment expecting a miracle cure but just wondered if anyone ahs had any success with using naet with their child.

Not one I've heard of. Thanks for the link.

Thanks Indigo, I'm rubbish with links!

A friends dd with lots of food intolerance, asthma & eczema has used it for her & had some very postive results.
Just wondered if anybody ahd tried it for autism, the info i've read to date seems to indicate it would be very good for children with autism where autoimmune factors play a part.

My 5-year old nephew has recently began treatment for autism with NAET and my sister has noticed, among other things, improvement in his alertness and his ability to better formulate sentences. Her medical doctor advised her to start NAET. He told her, "Amy, I don't know exactly how NAET works but it does and it works so well that I've hired a doctor in my practice and all she does is NAET". There is research compiled already about NAET and Autism. Go to www.naet.com for more information.

Sounds like hocus pocus to me. But i'm usually quite sceptical of non-scientifically researched stuff. Proper research I mean.

Thanks Dandydave, that sounds promisisng.
IKWYM Eloise but my friend has seen amazing reults in her dd, she is no longer having to wrap her skin & she has halved her inhaler use & hasn't had any chest infections over the winter, so I ahve no doubt it works BUT its the impact on the less physical things involved with Asd that i can't find an awful lot of evidence for.
It is becoming more widely recommended by conventional medics., my friends dd was put in touch with her naet practitioner by her dermitologist.
