Lighthearted relief

DS and I have one afternoon a week alone...he always insists we go straight from school to a local cafe for a sausage roll.

Today I mixed it up a little bit and got us a flapjack too....these are the kinds of surprises he can deal with Wink

Anyway, I asked him "Can I have a little bit of your flapjack?" and he, very seriously, on his best sitting in the cafe behaviour, broke me off a CRUMB and handed it to me saying "Do you like a crumb?"

And there's me earlier on giving chapter and verse to the LA about how literal he is (ho hum)

But he was so pleased with himself...it was the sweetest bit of flapjack I've ever had in my life!

I needed a bit of lighthearted relief today and thought I would share x

Grin that'll teach you to be more specific!
My DH still doesn't get the literal thing. He said at the weekend for my DS when we were supermarket shopping, that if he wanted it to just 'throw' it in the trolley. You can guess what he did!
