DLA renewal, I'm stuck!

I have been writing down note on each question for ds3 dla renewal, I really want to get this right as the last one took, 16 months and an appeal to get, and that was only last year.
DS 4.7 has asd and sld and attends a sn school full time after a disaster in ms, where he lasted 1 term.

I am at the part about his mental health and how does it effect him, and I am stuck, what do I put down. He is extremely violent, egocentric and self directed. How do I put it into words?

Ah, thank you SparkleRainbow - as long as you realise that I am just a Mum who has read the DM guide, and have no qualifications in this stuff (other than having a child with SN, which qualifies us all more than any course would)

Peachy, you are so right. That is where we can all agree. To play a sport, you have to know the rules. In Rugby you kick the ball behind you. In Football, you kick the ball forwards. Get the wrong sport, you break the rules. DLA has rules, it has criteria, conditions, etc.

The most subtle thing can change an award. Although the DLA 'night' is 11-7, if you habitually 'close down the house' at midnight, it will be midnight that counts as night. So someone who has to check their child's position and adjust it, taking 20 minutes, at 12am following going to bed at 11pm, may qualify for HRC. Someone who checks their child's position at 12am on their way to bed, would not.

Haha Scram ds3 can be awake for all of those hours, he sometimes goes to sleep at 7 wakes at about 11.30 and is awake till about 6. His bus comes at 8 so fun night for us, mostly he wakes about 3-4 time a night.
