Sensory Integration Therapy.

It's run by an occupational therapist and helps with sensory processing disorder (which most kids on the spectrum have.)

It involves doing all sorts of physical exercises. And especially helps with vestibular and Proprioception problems (the 7 senses)

Occasionally you can get it on the NHS. But mostly you have to go private. (Which will quickly add up because you should go weekly for a long time.)

Some people on here have reported great results with it.

We got 4 sessions on the NHS, and did think it helped. But have decided not to go down the expensive private route with it - because someone on here recommended doing retained reflexes therapy before doing SIT, and that is what we decided to do.
