What my ds did in front of the ed psyc

OMG I'm nearly wetting myself. I forced ds into school on Friday with some bribery because the ed psyc was going in to observe. I actually think it was worth it after what he did.

In the middle of class he stood up and shouted at the teacher to look and then pulled his trousers and pants down and bent over and showed her his bottom Grin.

I can picture it all now. I know I shouldn't laugh but I'm finding it so funny, and in front of the ed psyc as well!

oh dear Smile if that report comes back saying he's no issues - sue Grin

Spinkle · 05/02/2011 16:21

He did well. IME unless someone shove's their arse in the EP's face then nothing happens. Grin

That made me proper chuckle.

Oh fantastic!

It's one of those moments, isn't it?

You know you live in SN-land when... your child moons in public in front of a shrink and you are delighted. Grin

Hahaaaaaaaa! Well done Master newname Smile

My DS adores the Ed Psych. Everyone (pre-school, Paed, SALT, LEA bods) who knows the bloke wants to cite that as evidence of terrible social skills but we are all too scared Grin

This made me laugh. My ds (8) mooned the consultant paediatrician at the pre-Ados meet. She gave a working diagnosis of AS.

At Parent's Evening, the Senco said ds was perfectly ok at school (in spite of all the issues I'd raised). Ds who was sitting on the chair, turned his back to her, pulled down his trousers and pants and mooned her.

She was unable to speak for quite a while Grin

cornsilk · 05/02/2011 19:36

perhaps mooning professionals should be part of the diagnostic criteria

OverflowingMum · 05/02/2011 19:44

brilliant! My dd had Ed Psych assessment on Thurs...he apparently just sat at back of class....and dd sat quiet and well behaved no doubtHmm...so doubt it will be any help at all! Must remember to coach her to be more dramatic next time LOL

Thecarrotcake · 05/02/2011 19:49

Fantastic!! :)

And I'm chuckling at the 'you know you live in the SN world when' comment :)

my told a particular professional that they were given the wrong job :)... Sad he didn't pull a moon though :)

Peaceflower · 05/02/2011 19:49

Grin sorry, can't stop laughing, proper laugh out loud laughter.

Perhaps we should come up with a repertoire for our dc's to perform in front of professionals Smile

There's a market here, unless I'm much mistaken.

The way it goes atm is: Ed Psych comes in, declares nothing wrong with child, LEA refuses to assess, parents spend £££ on assessments and waste everyone's time and money taking LEA to tribunal before they inevitably capitulate.

Alternatively, a one-day intensive course with accompanying social story: "We Moon At Psychiatrists". £500 per head including limp sandwiches. £1,000 including special guest appearance by (selected parts of) newnameminor.

I'm looking for flaws, but nothing's jumping out at me...

Thecarrotcake · 05/02/2011 20:18

R3d .... There are no flaws! The dragons say "yes"

cornsilk · 05/02/2011 20:18

I wanna know how the ed psych's going to put that in the report Grin

Tiggles · 05/02/2011 20:21

LOL Grin. Thanks for brightening my day.

starfishmummy · 05/02/2011 22:27

Mine threw up! Ed psych realised he was about to (he threw up all the time then) stuck her hands out as if to catch it and then obviously realised this was daft and did a sideways dive, just in time.

Sensible boy!!
