and was rushed to hospital in an ambulance

Her temperature was very high but they managed to bring it down and i spent the night on the ward with her.

When the paediatricians came round to do their ward rounds they picked up on dd,s development problems-whey hay-someone is listening to me at last!

He then brought 4 more doctors to look at dd, they tried to get her to stand and she cant, she cant roll over or get up herself and she has gone back to babbling.

They told me she will be seen asap by the senior paediatrician as shw will need referring to the CDC.

you have been through all this already with your ds havent you, they asked me, i said so are you saying autism and they said-yes very high risk but she needs to be seen by the child development team.

So i feel a bit happier now, not because of what they have said but because someone is finally listening.

yes, they said it was a febrile convulsion and that she has a throat infection, we had been giving her calpol but she kept being sick so it wasnt working and her temperature shot up as a result.

So glad your dd has recovered so quickly, I know how scarey febrile convulsions can be as my ds suffered from them alot when he was younger.

Fantastic that you are finally being listened to - well done you! Keep us updated.
