asked physio what the wording on her discharge meant and she told me club foot! DD1 had physio for first 2 months but never never told club foot, just that she had bends in her bones!
Shes been having leg and hip pain for ages and GP has nt been able to find out why, have a feeling it may be this. what do yu think?

I'd go back with that little gem of information and see if the GP had picked it up. I would imagine it to be very relevant!

I agree with Al1son, back to GP!

I would demand a second opinion if I were you.

she's been reffered to physio anyways via paed, but do you think GP would refer anywhere other than to physio?

DS had positional talipes (club foot) when he was born. Its quite common apparently from being all cramped up in the womb. Positional means basically that it corrects itself eventually. He had a bit of physio for it though.

I agree go back to GP as you weren't told about it, though.

I guess physio could refer you on or send you back to GP if he/she thinks it makes a difference. Depends how long you have to wait for physio appt.

think physio appointment will be fairly quick, she said she will keep eye out for referal and out it on her list as she knows us well and because of the amount of pain she will be seen urgently.

She sounds on the ball. Could you ring her, explain the situation and ask her advice?

She's due to call me back about dd2 and her physio board so will talk to her then.

I had positional talipes as a child. I wore big sturdy boots when I was learning to walk. But I have absolutely no problems now at all - in fact, when I tore a cruciate ligament in my knee the orthapaedic surgeon commented on how well aligned my joints were...Grin

I didn't know that was what it was until I got pregnant, and my GP wrote it on my notes.
