Going in Feb super excited.

Just wondering if anyone had been and applied for the easy access pass? What documentation did you take? Were they really helpful?

Background got diagnosis of ASD for DS(4) in November, we have a diagnosis report and have applied for DLA but haven't received a response yet (est 3 week turnaround so not an impossibility). Could I take this or will I need a proper med certificate?

We've done this once at chessington with an older report where it was really easy to do and the people were really helpful, is it as helpful at disney?

The diagnosis letter should suffice, as long as it is on letterheaded paper. Email them and ask, they are pretty quick at emails, then you could print the email for proof. HTH and anything else you need to know RE disneyland just ask.

Hi we go to disney every year with our daughter who has ASD and we take a letter from the GP with her diagnosis and the GP adds that her ASD would prevent her from queueing and that has always been enough to get an easy access pass, the staff are pretty experienced and as long as your letter is on surgery headed paper, dated and signed by the doctor there should be no problems. Hope you have a lovely time!

Hi we have two children with ASD and have been to Disneyland Paris three times, last time in October. On the last occasion we took their blue disability parking badge and that was sufficient - not sure if you have one. Otherwise would concur with the other posters about DLA confirmation letters or from GP - all will do. In terms of the queuing, the wristbands do allow you to go in the exit of the rides (for the most part) but I have to say we found we still had to queue for up to fifteen minutes at some rides, particularly things like "It's a Small World" where there might have been other groups with SN in front of us. DLP seem to have a policy of only allowing one group with SN on every circuit or two, so the waiting was still an issue for us to the extent that we sometimes went away and came back again. However it was much much better than the main queues!! For the parades, it is really excellent as there is a specific area set aside for children with SN and the characters make a real effort to spend time there with the children. Up at the pink gates near "It's a Small World" is best for the parade in Disneyland Park and at the circle where Cinemagic is for the Studios. Get there fifteen to twenty minutes beforehand though. The busiest rides were the new Toy Story ones in the Studios, Peter Pan ride in the Park and Dumbo ride. Anything else you need to know feel free to PM me.

Thank you all, will get my paperwork in order!

By no means a disney virgin but last time I went (2 years ago) I could still carry and hold DS for prolonged lengths of time (I still did my back in for 3 days after thoughBlush),

so big benefit for me would be in being able to take the maclaren major up to the actual ride area, can you do this with the easy access pass?

Yes I,m sure you can take your major through the exits of most rides as long as you are able to lift your ds on to the rides yourselves as I don't think the staff are allowed to assist.
