Made me well up. Helpful for anyone who asks how siblings feel. I know this won't be in all cases but it does show how your kids take the queue from you as to how accepting siblings can be of differences.

yup- tears in the eyes- I've always been so pleased at the way my dd is with ds- I know it has been very hard for her at times and we have tried to make special times for her(not easy)she has grown into a strong,articulate young lady and sometimes tells me of things she has said at school if someone has been horrible about special needs or disability- I'm proud of her.

It was lovely and it made me cry. I do wonder whether she would have been able to keep him at home with so little support if he had been really challenging though. Sounds like he is quite an able chap
