I have a big orange furball with the calmest temperament you can imagine. He purrs like a steam engine, walks on his harness, and is a complete tart for a belly rub.

So, I've applied to register him as a PAT cat. Filled in all the forms, and popped into the vets today to find out how much they'll charge to assess him.

Nothing Xmas Grin

The nice lady who treated him for a tummy upset a couple of weeks ago is going to fill in that bit for me to collect on moday Xmas Grin

Has anybody had any experience of PAT animals? I'm doing it so I can take him to work - lots of the residents like animals, but taking care of pets plus taking care of the people has proved too much in the past, so this seemed a good compromise...

no personal experience but sounds really good Xmas Smile I find having our cat sat on my knee quite calming, very similar ginger furball from what I remember!

I forgot to mention...

I live in a flat over some shops. The shop workers downstairs enjoy his company on their breaks.

Also, a few weeks ago I was out on the patio planting some spring flowers and a new postlady came up the steps. Spotted Mango, and said "Ah, this must be the ginger cat I've heard so much about" Xmas Shock

So he's quite famous, locally Xmas Grin
