Anyone know what happened to LEAP for ASD therapy?

I bought a book by Chantal Sicile-Kira called 'Autism Spectrum Disorders, the Complete Guide' and she refers to a South West London based clinic called London Early Autism Project which does Lovaas based treatment for pre-school children.

I looked them up and the website has now gone (www.londonearlyautism.com) and the phone goes to answerphone

Anyone know of them and where they have gone?

LEAP

There is also an email address

[email protected]

That website in your link is what I have been getting too but is one of those pages that pops up with all sorts of irrelevant stuff on it (Africa Travel, Cheap car insurance etc ?) when a domain name has expired indicating that LEAP no longer exists - this also suggests the email address would not work either Sad

Sad looks like they have gone - website is gone, emails bounce back and no phone calls have been returned. Spooky
Please post if anyone has any info

We used them to run DS's ABA program some years ago. They were part of the Wisconsin Early Autism Project which was always very highly regarded. I think they packed up shop and went back to Wisconsin a few years ago now, finding the UK/London too much hard work and not being attached to a university as in the USA. Dr Glenn Sallows ran the whole thing and he had worked with Dr Lovaas and been trained by him. A lot of people at the time had plenty to say against LEAP, most unfounded in my view.
