Trying to get some Sensory OT for DS (6, ASD)
but NHS round here will not do it.

Any chance of these good people funding some of it? Is it income dependant?

The grant form requires confirmation from medical professional that the child has brain injury/damage condition - not sure if this covers AS?

It is income dependent. We got turned down because dh and I both work and have joint income over tax credit threshold (which apparently means u are a millionaire!!!!)

Autism is accepted as a brain condition.

Thanks for that. I knew he had the 'right' thing but didn't know if we were able to apply.

We get some tax credits (very small amount; just about pays for my gin Xmas Wink)

(that's a joke btw, I don't drink!)
