First was in yesterday's edition.
Woman who has had the experience (one brother with ds,another who died very young of CF)has established a charity SIBS www.sibs.org.uk

She has also written a book
'Special Brothers and Sisters:Stories and Tips for siblings of children with a disabilty or serious illness'
Jessica Kingsley Publishers)
Authors: Annette Hames and Monica McCaffrey

In today's edition, story of scientists who have tinkered with a mouse's genetics to give it Down's Syndrome in order to further research,with I might add,a lovley positive picture of a mother and her 5 month old son with DS.

Thanks for this mizmiz, much appreciated. I posted earlier this week about the probs I am having with my eldest son (NT) and his sudden realisation about ds2 (2 years) special needs.
