DS2 sent home from school early today

The head teacher phoned at 2:15 to say that they had nothing left to try with him, and could we take him home? The LA have recently approved him going to a local Special School, but we're waiting on the Head Teacher there agreeing to it. I'm not angry with the school for sending him home today - I just know how it can be. At least I know that they understand how it can be, too. I just feel stressed out, though, because my husband had taken the day off work so we could move beds around so that DD can have a big bed now, and now everything is unfinished and the house is in a state, and DS2 is in a 'loop' with no sign of slowing.

aww sorry, sounds a tough day. it's horrible waiting in limbo for educational provision to be provided.

Thanks, LunarRose, needed that. You're right, TMNWandS, limbo is not comfortable. Hope tomorrow's better.

DS1, DD, DH and me - we've all been kicked and nipped tonight. It seems so random. He's had a good few weeks at school, but today has been (quote) "his worst day yet", which is saying something, since there were records of 40+ biting incidents in a morning recently.

Hoping things settle and you all get some sleep. Hoping tommorrow is better for you all.xx

Thanks, Shaz. Things started badly this morning, but then there was a beautiful rainbow on the way to school which seemed to break the mood,so hopefully school will be better today.

Could he be sickening for something? DD always worse just before she's sick!

Thanks, BriocheDoree. I've just found your post. DS2's the same - we have a descent if he's not very well. I can't see any other sign, but I think something's up and I'm really not sure what. I'm wondering if he senses that change may be afoot for him school-wise.
