i have just seen one of these on ebay and they look great my ds would love one of these.

On ebay they are charging £15.

Is that an ok price to pay or is there somewhere else i can get one of a better quality for cheaper?

Thanks in advance

Come to me.... you know you want to.....

coppertop · 19/09/2005 21:53

Ooooh! I can feel that laminator force....

MrsForgetMeNotFul · 19/09/2005 21:56

thanks CT!!!! The 'vibes' pulled me in!!!

Jenk...i actually think that ebay one looks very good..... and if she can 'customize' it a bit...brilliant.

Yes..if you have a laminator...and enjoy 'surfing the net' for pictures...which I LOVE DOING.... then making one would be the ideal solution.

But.....it can become very addictive hunting for the 'right' picture and being possible AS myself makes me get rather obsessive about how 'good' the images are etc...so if you are at all like that...then i'd go for the ebay one!!!

And if you do buy it...then once you have got it decide to find some more of your own pictures to use...then i would happily laminate/velcro them for you at 'cost of materials + postage'....

MrsForgetMeNotFul · 19/09/2005 21:57

yoooo hoooo coppertop!!!

coppertop · 19/09/2005 22:03

How did I know you'd find your way to a thread with the word "laminator" in it?

Who was laminatorvoodoo btw? Own up.

Goosey - what a fantastic website and what a great job you are doing. Oh that I wish you were round the corner from me.

It even makes me want to move to Ivybridge

I am making one for dd1 - have a thick strip of felt that I have sewn the top over and put a piece of dowel through. Divided it into 7 days going down the page iyswim. Then taken photos of our daily activities - swimming, kindy, people we visit etc and then laminated them and stuck a bit of velcro on the back - put which ever one is needed on to whichever day.

You could make the strip wider to cover am/pm. I just wanted it like a prompt/weekly calendar so she gets used to the idea of what is happening - I am sure she does not understand all when I say today we are going to.... go to kindy etc.
