Hi HoneyBare

Parent Partnership Services, are County Council run organisations that are supposed to mediate between parents and schools.

They are only as good as the people involved in the day to day running of the service, and as a result quality varies from one county to another.

You should take as much support information as you can find, to support your side of the debate.

They are good at helping you with the internal processes of your particular LA and for signposting.

They are paid by the LA though and NOT impartial. So do take check out some of their advice at times, particularly around the statutory process.
