My DS aged 13 months is being seen by a developmental paed on Thursday morning because he has gross motor delays. We are already working with a physio for this but we have been told that we need an overall assessment to check for GDD or similar problems, typically CP.
I know that the paed will be using the Griffiths Scale to assess him but I can't find out anything about the exercises/tests they actually do in each part of the assessment. I'm not even sure what a 'regular' 13 month old should be capable of as all of DS' peers seem so very different
Has anyone experience of the Griffiths Scale assessment and can you tell me what to expect, especially regards the fine motor/coordination part?
Thank you
