Well i was gobsmacked when i picked up DS (nearly 5) from school.
They have seen finally something today regarding his anxiety and asd.

At lunchtime, Diner lady went over to him and opened his cheesy string packet. He got Angry then got really upset, and teacher was sent in to assist.
They realised that he got so upset because he hadn't finished his sandwich and the diner lady had opened his cheese.

Teacher wrote in his book he likes to be able to complete things before he can start another.

Wink yes , that is true. Finally we can agree on something.

And he is particular about how he eats his food.
It's just a shame that it takes things like this to happen before they actually see.

But at the same time i know now they are not reading what i write in his contact book, as he has an appointment tomorrow with the neurologist. I have written twice in his book about it as DS will be missing school in the morning, fisrt 2 weeks ago to inform them, and yesterday again to remind them.
But when i mentioned it and asked teacher what time would be best to bring him ie:before or after lunchtime as it is harvest day tomorrow. She didn't have a clue what i was going on about. Biscuit

Smile that they are finally acknowledging his "issues" exist.

Biscuit abut them not reading the book though. Typical!
