DS was assessed by the EP for the SA using these scales in three areas. Scores varied from high speed of information processing (+90th centile) to very low memory (5th centile).

The EP did not want to do IQ testing and says that DS's scores are consistent with his grades which are largely a little above average.

Tested by BIBIC, DS's IQ was put on 95th centile.

We are getting an independent EP to do a report but I a trying to understand the results of the tests.

Can anyone help?

It is funny pippinjo as he is really slow on the uptake in class! I think it is the difference between 1:1 and processing info from a sheet of info and picking up verbal instructions. Might use that! I suppose it differs cfrom auditory processing.

Do you mean immediate verbal memory is on the 5th percentile? My son had a full assessment resulting in uneven profile centiles from 2 -99 on EPs Assessment. He scored 2nd centile for verbal memory.

Wasuup - it was recall of digits test.

Pipinjo - no you have definite been really helpful. Dictaphone is a great idea. Wow, simple but great. He would love that too. Writing stuff down is the key clearly.
