Well weirdly and strangely we are seemingly have this the otherway round from the norm ( ds always has to be different!)
we at home have got things almost under control behaviour wise.. Yes we are constantly on the ball with statagies.. and yes we still have bad moments .. Actually most days.. But .. ds is begining to be able to express himself a bit better and so this makes this a bit easier.
However!!! school is a completely different story.. He is no longer waiting till he gets home to 'blow' .. He's doing it right there.. He is not communicating effectively with people... He has been very rude to staff ..( actually I think he is litterally just saying what is in his head.. And they are taking him tbe wrong way).
we know he is still being bullied.. Yet he also doesn't have a halo himself. Etc etc
so do we have more chance of getting a statement because it's school that aren't basically coping with him... Even though they are actually trying! ( to a point).. Basically ds needs, SALT input, OT input,asd behavioural support ( for at school).. And TA time .. Bloody 1-1 TA time!
( he is dyslexic and os about 5 years behind in writing!)..
So from what I can tell.. Ds isn't getting the support.. And thus everything goes wrong..
I'll stop wittering on .. gahhhhh
