Speech Therapy Worry - reluctant to diagnose?

DD is 3 next month, she has Noonan Syndrome, but seems developmentally ok, maybe a delay of about 6 mths physically.
Right have had SALT once every 3 mths and portage monthly for last year.
DD says many distinguisable words.
But joins none together in two word sentences,
She can say ye and low, but for yellow says wowo
She has many instances like this where she can say the right sounds but cannot say any 2 syllable word that has a different sound so mama baba, dada and the like are all fine
SALT says as she has the same word for the right things everytime they will not diagnose her with any delay as she passes the screenings due to her superb comprehension and understanding of spoken conversation.

this has been going on for about 18 mths, portage worker says she has an articulation issue and possibly some tonal problems - her hearing has been checked.
We cannot get any further sesions or help until a diagnosis is made and I'm getting anxious.
I know her computation is fine - she knows colours and shapes and is trying to count etc...
Where else can I go about this - I feel that as dd is showing signs of being normal despite the lack of speech, that she will fall through the cracks...
TIA

Are you having another session in 3 months. Usually 3 is their cut off so if she's still like that past three then I would assume they will be more likely to diagnose. Keep pushing, all you can do (or get a private opinion|?)

do you think her sound mis speech is to do with the low muscle tone? my dd has hyupotonia and it is quite common for certain sounds to take longer to 'appear' due to this, not actually a tyhing that can be rectified as such but a time thing

fwiw i think she souunds like she is doiung great, try not to be anxious

Or kaufman cards! (or ask your therapist to provide some Nuffield materials). DS2 used to speak gobbledigook (speech sounds were all over the plkace). I did use some Nuffield stuff and some kauffman stuff but to be honest he suddenly sorted it out.

She has got a lot better recently (Eye Q oil helped perhaps?) I know this, but the frustration is that she can makes the sounds but not put them together.
When she turned 2 they said they would begin to get anxious about this in 3-6 mths, then they kpet putting it off... This is whats bothering me..
She attends a mainstream nursery and gets along fine on the one morning session she does attend.
Her muscle tone is a lot better now to Fio, since walking it's improved ten fold.
I tell you really baffled them
DD can say a perfect "th" and has done since 14 mths, her first word was "there", and we cannot work it out how she does that and struggles with other more basic sounds! I have been patient for so long, but now I'm getting a little edgy like something a little more needs to be offered IYKWIM?
