Inclusion support is probably not very much. It means that someone comes and makes suggestsions ot the nursery about how to help him remain there. That isn't always the same thing as learning anything though. You need a good nursery for that in these early stages.

Nevermind being warned that the asd process takes a long time. That is code for if we can drag it out as long as possible that delays the time when we have to fund any extra support.

Sorry. I've been told off before for scaring new people with doom and gloom stories, but I am frustrated on your behalf that they appear to have already tried to reduce your expectations of what is available etc.

Which consultant is it that says highly likely asd? What is their job title? Have they referred you, and who too? If you can afford a private dx, that will short cut a lot of nonsense.

Hi Kerry,

Could you break up your text a bit. It makes it hard to read like that.

On the 25 you can push for dx by making it well known that you expect one. Research asd criteria and make sure you demonstrate everything that fits that is relevant. Then ask for a written dx, failing that a written working diagnosis, failing that a written verbal working diagnosis.

If you are referred, ask who to, and then ask find out their number and call them regularly to get a cancellation appointment.
