hi i have not done this before but i am screaming out for help I dont know where to go or who i can get support from if anywhere?my ds is still being assessed for adhd/asperges and autisum he is in year 1 and has spent alot of time being sent home or excluded in his reception year, the school did not do enough to support or help him and were convinced he just choose to behave the way he did, I have moved him to a school that has better senco and facilities to support him but within a a few days of him being there he excluded he now only spends time with a ta and is only in school for two hours each day if he manages that as he still ends up excluded for having a bad reaction to something and becomes violent It has now got to the point my partner is working and i now will have to stop working due to my son not being able to attend more than two hours a day or at all. he is a lovely caring boy and we dont know where to go to get help,or even if we can as he does not have a diagnosis yet he has his moments at home but nowhere near what he is like at school or when we go to public places where do we stand financially or how quick is the process to help children any advice would help

Sorry no advice, but just wanted to say you are not alone. I am sure someone will be along in a bit who can give you some advice. My Dd3 has been in the assessment process for 18 months and we are still no closer to a dx. However she is well behaved at school but holds in her negative feelings until she gets home and then boils over. We have a lot of trouble when we are out too.
Hop someone comes to talk to you soon. You have come to the right place for advice and support.Smile

thankyou for your supporti hope all the best for you both too it seems a very sad state when a child has to have a diagnosis before you are given the help they need has become a real eye opener for me to the parents going through this, my ds has been going through this since 2 and has been rejected or placed on the side lines because people dont understand him or take the time but now its effecting his education i am hopeing things will move quick was hoping not give work up but he needs me more.
