DD can see; so I need to:

Tell everyone, the whole world and everyone else too, & formally I need to tell the school & DLA, but who else?

Oh & then I must tell everyone else too Wink

Yay!!! SO pleased for you and her.

I'd give it a few days tbh, just to make sure she doesn't have a relapse, and then contact everyone formally to let them know.

Can she see 100% again or is it blurry at all?

KatyMac · 10/10/2010 20:35

Her sight is better in her left eye, but only blurry at distance in her right, plus I think she is a bit short sighted (I went short sighted about this age)

But she can read & watch telly, use the computer without any problems & she says it is so clear

Hurrah!

Tbh I'd wait a few days before telling DWP. It does sound as though her sight has returned but it could waver a bit and take a while till it's fully restored. Even when you do contact them it's worth saying you're not sure if this is a permanent recovery.

Have you had a chance to speak to her specialist yet? Might be worth getting a professional opinion before you go to DWP.

Really, really pleased for you, btw Grin.

I'm really pleased for you Smile. You need to put it on Facebook, of course!

But I would agree that you should be cautious. If the sight loss was a symptom of an underlying issue, another symptom could well appear in its place. I don't want to sound negative, just saying that you want to retain any professional support as it's often hard to reopen those doors once a case is closed.

KatyMac · 11/10/2010 10:44

I don't really 'do' Facebook
