Anyone dealt with Gloucestershire LEA?

Hi DS is 3.1 and adhd and on autistic spectrum -consultant hasn't officially diagnosed yet said he believes DS has both and wrote to pre school to say he should be treated as if he has a diagnosis.
Just started pre school and already told he can only do 5.5hours a week instead of 15 as he is too destructive and it's not fair on other 29 children.
Multi agency meeting is being planned but don't have date as yet. Does anyone have any one useful I can contact in the area. I would love DS to attend a smaller setting where they specialise with such children.
Spoke to a lovely lady at parent partnership who said although they usually deal with school aged children if they're free they will attend to support me.
Does anyone have any tips on dealing with Gloucestershire LEA, any pre school settings you'd recommend for a child with his needs or any useful contacts please?
Would be ever so grateful as feeling rather drained now and as a single parent am going it alone Sad

Haven't a clue but the NAS website has an area by area search thing for schools etc.

Oops Blush so have a look there and hopefully someone will be along soon. It is tough - I have similar boy and am also single - but knowledge is power!

Hi, we have just moved out of the county, but ds's issues were picked up by a children's centre preschool e attended in gloucestershire. Have been looking through the notes from there again recently and really I can't recommend it enough, wish ds could still go here now! They are just so on it, really know their stuff.

What town are you in? Obviously that makes a difference to whether or not it's feasible.

You can send me a pm if you'd rather not say on here

Parliament Street children's centre.

A friend had good experiences with another children's centre, they seem to be pretty good in gloucestershire. Are there any closer to you that you could look at?

304464?

That's a bit odd...you could contact the health visitor?
Or even ring the county council? I often resort to that when something's eluding me

If it's local to you would be ideal too because it looks like it's connected to the school? Could be great when it comes to starting school
