well after my moaning about how ick and shattered I was feeling thread last night.. And being up and down with an a rather coldy dd all night.. And then this morning ds2 seemed to be coming out with it...
Dh called work, has taken the day off.. Done the school run with ds1 and dd ( who has perked up and wanted to go to school).. Told me to stay in bed, has run about fetching drinks and capol for ds2.. And is on call if school ring to pick dd up.

He has rescheduled what I was supposed to be doing and has been a bit fabby!

So while he's at it.. Anyone need a hand? .. He makes a good cuppa and is very good with asd dc's

...I obviously cant do the crossed out writing thingy!

Ahh selective cleaning... I am trying to train this out of ds1 ( future wife of ds1 take note.. I tried!)

Wooley.. I studied it a long time ago :) .. Now do it for a job :) ( summer photography.. Winter portraits)

I havent painted for years a while, but I do a lot of photography and recently started drawing again. Ive done 5 weddings...for free friends. I was going to go back to college and then go pro but its been a tough year sorting out DD.

I didnt finish my degree...ran out of money and was ill myself. Id love to sell my work but Im not a 'proffessional' yet! :)

...I think DHs would train in the pub! ....or I could leave them with ;hands on' training and watching DCs while I go! :)

Yup I know about tough years sorting out Ds2.. missed the damn threadneedle entry date this year due to not having enough time.. But I'm due to finish the piece I'm doing for it soon ( just need to sort a nose out).

I fell into doing the weddings ( like your doing).. through a friend, then a friend of a friend.. etc until I had a big enough portfolio to go professional...( before that I kept photography just for me) I have always done the portraits though..
get your paints out and start drawing.. It doesn't matter that you didn't finish uni, it's more about getting out there!
As soon as my competition dates come through I will pass them on to you.. Seriously enter a few, and enter some locals too.. You can do it ( and it fits in with sn dc's :))

I may have more time to now DD is in school and in the evening now DS sleeps most of it....if I stop mumsnetting researching online! :)

I think its very theraputic to paint but Ive lost my confidence...must just practise more. :)

Actually if you use that site.. There is a great little forum etc on there and you'll get plenty of constructive crit..And it's free!
