Because I cant be bothered to try and fight to get an NHS one to see DS anymore.

It means we are going to have to scale down Christmas and our holiday next year is looking dodgy but I know it will be worth it for DS.

I am also hoping that if this OT does her assessment I can go back to the NHS and prove that OT will be benificial - even if his problems are sensory.

I had a visit from a lady from the local NAS branch.

She said to me, rather than spending on an assessment myself, fill in a sensory checklist produced by Olga Bogdashina in her latest book and present that instead. She thought we might get some sensory OT work for ds (6, asd and adhd)on the NHS.

I guess it's worth a punt. The checklist is very very detailed.
