My ds is 6 dx with asd came home today and in his reading book was a little handmade love card from a little girl in his class. This is extra special, as I'm sure you will agree as our children can struggle to make friendships.

Chuffed as mintballs lol

Wow alfiemama the girls had better watch out if he's starting at 6 Grin

My 4 year old AS son has just started and is wistfully talking about friends without a clue how to make them so that really cheered me up!

Maybe when your DS is 16 he'll be the enigmatic one in the library absorbed in something oblivious to the girls whispering and checking their hair in the window...

I always remember his friend who is nt and 8 was trying to teach him to trade go go lazy bones at school. Alfie went with 5 and was so proud to come home with 3. He really didnt understand the concept, bless.
