just had a breif chat to discuss things. i said i wanted to get things moving after xmas. she said thats fine, gives the school time to get all reports etc together, what they have been doing with dd2, and we wil lbe ready to roll.

its so great to have support.

so after xmas, back on the dx road to ASD most probably.

thank you.

i know some people on here might be going 'mmmm why is she on here, its seems easy for her' etc etc. but this has been a major issue with dd2 since she was little. as in a baby. when she didnt respond to noises, and was totally oblivious to her surroundings. when i found her at under a year old, colour-matching everything in my kitchen cupboards....

dd2 is quirky and fantastic. very polite. but as she is getting older (is 8 now) her differences are becoming more apparent. even the school is making provisions for her to try and keep her routines, seating arrnagments etc the same. as she is prone to flapping and panicing when things change or she doesnt understand whats happening.

basically we have struck gold with the school, who have bent over backwards to help dd2. they have been fantastic, and love them. am so glad i made the decission to move dd1 there 5yrs ago when dh was ill, and people told me not to move her. because then dd2 would'nt have got in either.
