Well half my friends and family already thinks my DD's AS is made up so it makes no odds to me if a load of other people join in.

But surely you have just instructed your dd to sit in the wheelchair purely so you can get all the attention 2shoes?
(I'm being sarcastic in case it's not obvious).

The comments on some other forums or threads makes for depressing reading. I bloody well work hard with both my lads, they still have special needs that not only means they struggle in school, but also in the outside world as well. They aren't going to "just" need an extra 15 minutes in their exams, they're going to need support in their day to day lives for probably all their lives.
But well, far easier for people to say it's because I don't discipline them, or bother with them, or willingly make it up.

I know,. I know
add in the fact that even the papers can't tell the difference between SEN and sn.........

You're mistaking them for people who give a t**s that there is a difference. Who cares if it makes good headlines. Throw mud at the pushy parents and keep your readers happy.

Oh, but your DD is still taking resources from those who really need it - the stinking rich!

I'm with al1son.. the half of my family that I am still in contact with and most of the staff at school don't believe Dd3 has any issue, we haven't even got a dx so god knows what will happen nowShock.
Luckily I have some good friends who see what I see and you guys on here to help me .
