Dd2's pead appointment....

Took dd2 for a check up with the loccal pead today, i hate taking her because the pead always judges dd2 on how she is on the day and last time said 'theres nothing there' Sad as dd2 would not respond to anything.

Dd2 walks into the room says 'hello', looks around at the room full of toys, jumps onto the peads lap and says 'computer please', she then leans over to the pc, manages to find microsoft word and starts typing her name Grin. The pead was well impressed and said 'if it wasn't for her language delay i would say she has AS not ASD', so she thinks dd2 is deffently at the high functioning end of the spectrum and will one day land herself a job in IT (i think at the age of 4 its a bit early to tell) Grin.

I then took dd2 around town (3 shops) without a pushchair or back pack and she only fun off once and came straight back when i called her.

So we have had a good day (a lot better then yesterday).

Sounds like she is doing really well. Smile

It makes such a difference when you can go out without a buggy, we rarely use it now, DD is actually MUCH easier when out and about, for some reason, when she is inside she is WILD.

Thank you.

I don't know if could cope with both dd's without dd2 in a buggy, dd1 tends to winde dd2 up and it ends in disaster. Dd2 is alot better on her own, i think its dd1 that causes the problems Smile. It was nice to go out, just me and dd2 for a change.
