Picked up dd from school today. she is part time ABA and part time school. Autism Outreach teacher who is observing dd came out to introduce herself and mentionned a visit next week where ABA supervisor was going in to school to observe dd. Outreach teacher is also going to be there (I assumed to discuss how dd is getting on). Outreach teacher today said ' visit was to handover from ABA supervisor to outreach teacher'. Am a bit pissed off. I know LEA want dd in full time and that they will be pushing hard for this at review, but am irritated that it is all been done in sneaky way. am pretty sure that aba supervisor has not been told she is coming in to handover. AIBU?

no YANBU if its anything like our lea they are underhand and cannot be trusted, go with your instinct. do you have a statement for this setup at the moment ? if you have they can't change it without changing the statement.

thanks missmarples (love your name by the way - I often read a bit of agatha christie to calm me down!) our statement is kind of vague. It simply says that she can have ABA until she is in school full time. I do want her in school now, I think she's ready, it's just that I want it to be at the right pace and also I am concerned that the school are up to speed on what she needs. I know that the lea are only interested in getting her in full time so taht they can stop paying for the aba. I was a bit flummoxed today when she told me this. I am in two minds how hard I want to fight; it's just a bit depressing to think they're all scheming behind the scenes isn't it?
