A real milestone in any child's life and a big shock for Mums. Good luck to you both. I am sure your DS will be fine.

Hes going to be going to the same school, where hes been going to nursery and he'll be there until hes 19 which is good Smile.

Ahhh, big boy. I hope he enjoys it :)

Ahh that's ace :). My friend went to the same school from the age of 3 to 16, and she now has such a tight knit group of friends (although they've welcomed me in with open arms), I hope he enjoys it too :)

:O

DS2 starts reception, next week. It won't be much of a change for him, either, since nursery and reception are all in one room at his school and he'll be keeping the same lovely LSA he had in nursery.

We've fixed it so that there's definitely no more, though ;)

lourobert, it has come so fast. Is he going to SF? DD1 is going to SD, but will need to move on at 11.

If it is SF, I know a lady whose boy goes there and he has just leapt on developmentally. He had a severe GDD, and his developmental age has doubled in the last year, he is much brighter, more interactive, able to manipulate objects more and wanting to do stuff. It is amazing to see the difference in him.
