DS has been breaking his shoes and our will to live by dragging his feet in his stroller.

We were in a bike shop earlier and he got himself into and bloody loved it. So did I when I found out it turns on a sixpence and is soooooo easy to fold.

Plus the hood comes almost all the way down which is marvellous for when he's in meltdown / overload.

I dare say a Major buggy is in the future but until that time. And MNers love it going by the reviews Smile

It is amazing how much of a difference a 3 wheeler buggy makes!! We bought a Mountain buggy when I started finding it difficult to push DD in a regular buggy (did not want a Major at that stage) and more recently a Quinny Zapp for going on an airplane and trip to London :o hightly recommend both - DD is 4.5 and 18.5kg, and still fits both brilliantly.

I was torn between the Baby Jogger and a Maclaren XT but went with the XT as it is smaller to fold. DD is a really tall 3 yr old and still fits in it fine although she is heavy to push up a hill!!

We have this for DS, mainly because the way it folds means it will fit in our boot, which umbrella fold buggies won't.

I love it, it's great to use.

Quite a deep seat but not ideal for DS posture. Pretty sure physio doesn't really like it either as it doesn't really give him the support he needs. Still, you have to get by.

DS is is 3 soon and still fits it, though just starting to get a little tall - think he'll manage another year in it though.

Ok, it's no secret that I am a pram hun Blush, so DS2 has had his fair share of prams. I've had a ot of prams over the past 2 years and always look at prams that woud be good for both DS2 (5) and DS3 (21 months).

The best ones for a bigger child are probably ones with air tyres, although the Baby Jogger City Mini is a great pram (I've had two). They do do an air tyred verion as well (which I've had) and it is a dream to push but a lot bigger/longer. It aso has the pull down hood which my Ds2 loved as well.

Prams to look at would probably be

Nipper 360
Micralite superlite
Baby Jogger City Mini/Elite/Classic

5inthebed I remember your posts (had about ten threads open about that pushchair) and they swayed me Grin so thanks. I had a bad experience with a 3-wheeler with the Zia Petite Star so was wary of them.

This is the sixth pram I've had for DS so I must admit that while I'm sorry he still needs one it was quite exciting looking at them again Blush

I am a bit daft though because whenever I had looked at pushchairs like it I automatically discounted any with no handles because I need something to hang shopping on. Nobody told me about buggy clips until I read those threads - doh!

So double thanks Smile

You're welcome. I've never had a Zia, but never wanted one because I know how crap they are.

MistsandMellowMilady · 31/08/2010 21:14

LOL it was a nice colour if flimsy and er, shite.

Nipper 360 or Micralite superlite eh?

I'll have a look Grin

If you were wanting more of a stroller I'd say Micralite. They are fab!

MistsandMellowMilady · 01/09/2010 10:25

Just seen a Micralite demo, I'm liking that fold. Good for buses.

It doesn't look as if DS will be able to do the feet-dragging thing either. Maybe next summer...

Have taken the Jogger out and given it a good run, I was amazed how it managed kerbs so smoothly into of crashing into them like the last one Smile
