Which SN pushchair?

My son is only 11 months old, but has very poor trunkal tone and can't support his head for long periods of time.

We are using a Maxi Cosi Mura atm, and it's just what we need, but Ds's head is almost at the top of the back rest (he's on the 100th centile for length)and so I'm beginning to investigate SN pushchairs. I figure it will take us so long to be referred to the OT and for them to sort themselves out, that I might as well at least start looking now.

I know I want one that's rearward and forward facing, and that has trunkal and head supports and that weighs under 16KG,as I know that's the most I can lift!

Ithink I've narrowed it down the Snappy, Jazz easy or Ormesa bug.

Has anyone had any experience of these?
Or does anyone have any other reommendations that I've missed.

It needs to have a hood and shopping basket as well as a raincover, oh and not have any dimension greater than 100cm when folded, or it won't fit in my boot.

Hope someone can help

I've just ordered an Ottobock kidsert to see if that will do the trick, then I can use my old Emmaljunga that I had for DS1. BUt I'd still like to begin to learn about decent SN pushchairs, as I know I'll need one eventually :)

Hi Sleepy,
We have a kimba spring which we love, but it's heavy and big when folded. We don't use the car the much so it's not a major issue.

We also had the Jazz Easy on our list and also the Tom Street wise - shown in this catalogue.

Keep on at them though - I had to make a complaint about our OT which dramatically shortened the waiting time Wink but it still took 10 weeks from ordering to supply. DS had grown again by then!

Thanks for that feelingbetter.
I had looked at both of those, but discounted them due to size and weight. I suffer from recurring tendonitus and a bad back since I had DS2 (can't think why!!), and so this limits my lifting abilities :)

I will keep on at them. We've waited 6 months to see an OT, and then we find out the physio hadn't actually put us on the waiting list when she said she would to save us a job. So now my ire is up and I'm spoiling for a fight Grin

It's good to know about a 10 week lead time. I'd better get started!
