hello ladies my son has autism after an mmr vaccination and my sons problems started soon after. There is a dr and two other professionals who got sacked from the general medical council for opening their mouths. These dr's have solid proof and thousands of families whose children changed soon after the mmr vaccine.Check out dr wakefield by googling his name as i don't think i am allowed to post links here. His work is a huge eye opener.Everyone has there own opinion and i am not pushing mine on anyone i just don't want any more kids to suffer. It has ruined my sons life.If your child has autism and bowel problems check his work out you will be amazed.

What happened to your sons eyesight?

My son lost his eyesight after his 3 month vaccination - although thankfully it returned after 8 or 9 months (although he still has nystagmus and huge visual perception problems)! So I'm always interested to hear tales about eyesight and vacciantions....

DS2 has gut problems, never fully explored just medicated. I also believe language is the key & makes all the difference. Age 4 ds2 was non verbal, completley silent, made no attempt to speak or make sounds at all, very rarely even cried. He was regarded as having severe GDD (before ASD dx) however his language skills have developed well & he has great understanding, so is not considered severe, more moderate i'm guessing but mainly down to OCD & anxiety type issues.
DS2's ASD is a a result of his brain damage & prematurity but his paed thinks there may be an underlying genetic thing going on (although genetic tests come back clear) as he has some genetic markers.

I think we (& our kids paeds) all know children where Wakefields research fits perfectly, sadly politics seems more imprtant than research.

My mum knows someone who became very ill after swine flu vaccination - including loss of sight. I guess it must be due to some sort of inflammation in brain or optic nerve.
