I've found the best washable continence products

The continence nurse recommended this company to me:

ps healthcare

I needed some pants with a pad for DS2 at night cos he can't pull his pull ups up properly (they are getting a bit snug).

I've also got a bed pad and a pad for his wheelchair for whilst he's toilet training.

They are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble and their Upsey Daisy range of protective pants are just ace...

They are also working on a range of swim nappies which should be out within 6-12 months.

Bloody hell, you should X-post in the nappies section. I just bought some ME Bedwetter pants for my 6yo, but the products you link to work out a lot cheaper!

Will do... spoke to a man called Paul and he couldn't help enough, I'm to return the stuff if it isn't 'right' and he'll find the best solution.

Apparently the company was set up as a result of parents being unable to find washable continence products for their child and they are looking to have the best customer service and the most competitive prices, I can't fault them on either. He spent ages on the phone with me making my selections and nothing was too much trouble.

I've just had a look at what they do, can the boxer style pants go overnight? We're using a special needs nappy from a regular nappy company for now but it does look like a nappy and so is no good for nights away etc and I end up resorting to disposable stuff which is my pet hate!

Yeah I think this is more for toilet training to be honest everyone, it'd cope with a light wee or bit of poo but not much more.

The bed protection and travel mats would be good for leaks though x

Me too Riven. The NHS nappies that dd is being supplied with are cutting her :(. Due to take a delivery of the next size up but they will be gi-normous.

I know - total case of ffs. What is happening with the MN nappy campaign - or has that died a death? I am still awaiting my reply letter from Dave Hmm.

I will try Hartmanns, thanks for that :o.

Riven, sorry if this is stupid suggestion, but have you looked at something like the ME Bedwetter pants, they are supposed to be full nappies for up to the size of the average 8yo, I think.

just wanted to say I have been looking for washable continence stuff for ages. I used PS's boxer-short type things with pads in for ds1 (8yo but he was younger the) and they weren't any help overnight - he wees so much that even with a pad the wee managed to escape. So we still use DryNites even if they are 50p a go :(

actually there is.

time for a history lesson

originally there was a company called libero

and they made nappys fro babies

they also had 2 uber nappys

which were more youth sized
libero junior

when sca bought them out they ceased to make that but tena xs are about the same size as them

to fit 40-60 cm
with small being 50-80
tena xs is a 23inch waist,
