Ealing LA - how supportive re. statement/ABA??

Hello

I live in Ealing in London. My little boy is in a local mainstream school and was diagnosed last April with ASD. I suppose he would be regarded as 'high functioning' autism but I know he will need a lot of help expecially with concentration, concepts of time etc., and has some obsessional traits i.e he can get very annoying about toys or treats. But he is a great little fella really and I hate saying bad things about him.

I am looking into the whole statement process and ABA funding from council. Does anyone have any experience of working with EALING LEA on the above?

Thanks

Mx

Hi fullstop, I live in Ealing. My son is now 4 years old. I am desperately trying to get some information regarding the ABA therapy ( how effective it is, best therapists to go to etc), how we can convince the LAs about adopting this in the EHCP. I would appreciate if you can throw some light on this.
Thanks
