We went to the Science museum last weekend and they had some great off roading chairs to use free of charge. I am going to find a way of getting the money for one. Cant link from my phone but it is www.trekinetic.com i think
Could be co.uk tho

MovingBeds · 04/08/2010 10:46

Have you seen how much they are lou33?

I know! I am investigating ways of raising funds for it tho, it would really improve ds2's lifestyle so much

Marne · 04/08/2010 12:23

Look on e-bay, i often see them come up (we were looking a while back but we made do with a mountain buggy).

glittery · 04/08/2010 12:26

Our Delta is the smallest size and was just under £1000, not cheap i know, ours was funded by the Children Today charity

MovingBeds · 04/08/2010 12:29

can you create alerts on ebay? (I am not very good at using it)

I am not sure we would receive funding as we tend to earn over the threshold for any kind of help

i just called the company and spoke to the designer/md, i am more convinced than ever i have to try and get the money for it now

glittery · 04/08/2010 12:47

just do a search on ebay of what you are looking for, maybe try special needs buggy or something like that as something else might come up thats suitable.
next to the number of results that come up theres a bit you can click that says save this search and alert me later, you can then set it to send you an email every time a new item is listed

I think one just sold on ebay for £300.

I am looking for a smaller one, the "Swift"

Although DD is suddenly rebelling at being in buggy and moaning all the time she is in it.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 04/08/2010 16:12

and I think I meant the "spirit" not the "swift"

kennythekangaroo · 04/08/2010 16:19

We've got the next size up - freedom I think. It's fine for rough ground and the beach. DS is a small 11 yr old so it has lots of growth.

MovingBeds · 04/08/2010 17:19

the freedom is the adult one?

OP posts:
MovingBeds · 04/08/2010 17:20

is it this one? here?

Thinking about it, I think we would need that size aswell
