So The Children's Society have a Children's Centre. Fabulous. The have a Summer Programme. Fantastic.

But the 'Stay and Play' is for 0-2s, so I can't take the children there, because DD1 (the one with the SN) is 4.7. She wouldn't cope at all with the idea of her two younger sisters going to play while someone babysat.

Not to worry, there are a couple of 'waddle, toddle, and buggy' walks aimed at 0-5. But I can't take them there either. DD3 needs a buggy (15 months), and I can't push two buggies at once (DD1 has a Mac Major). I can't push a buggy and keep hold of a crelling harness with a wriggly dissenter and supervise DD2 (2.11). I can't let DD1 walk unrestrained becuase she has no sense of danger, runs off, and won't be safe. So we can't go.

So there is nothing for us. Nowhere.

I don't know. It isn't a primary Centre, it is Tertiary, so there are only 2 workers. My friend is the Family Support Worker, but I know she would be heading the walk up. She can't really be pushing a buggy when she needs to be available for parents.

It's ok. Just life.

Sometimes it's just good to get it all off your chest, Lougle. Feel free to moan away on here- we all need to do it x
