Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on special needs.

Can anybody give me advice about my housing problems?

Bit of a tricky one and i've also posted in the legal section but here goes.

My son has ADHD and can cause a huge amount bit of comotion lets say when he's having a behaviour

I'm moved into a flat at the end of june so i've been here 1 month. I have a 12 month tenancy and the landlord himself showed me around the property. I explained when i met him (before any contract or anything was arranged) that i have 3 children and my oldest has a mental disability so i am a full time carer.

Anyway he agreed we could let so we moved in.
On day 1 (move day) some of the other resisents all popped out and introduced themselves so i did the same and also explained about my ds and that he can bang make noise when things get bad because of his disability. They all said dont worry and were very welcoming.

Right so a day or so later the woman who lives directly underneath introduced herself and said you've been very quiet to which i also explained the above and she said it would be fine dont worry. A week later my son had a huge blow out! banging doors screaming shouting and even broke a few things in the flat. The woman downstairs then knocked on my door and said its getting a bit noisy in the mornings so i appologised and said i'm really sorry, explained it was his condition and that i'm trying really hard to keep him quiet early on. She said its ok just thought i'd let you know.

A few days after this i got an official letter from the management of the buildings that the noise is a problem in the mornings including banging doors and my children running up and down. If this continues i would be breaking a clause in the lease that requires occupiers not to cause a nuisance, noise or disturbance.

do i have any rights whatsoever or basiccaly have i had it. He did it again this morning and i'm very confident it will happen again soon as it often does.
Also if i do get thrown out (which i feel is inevetable) will i get rehomed through the council cause i cant see this landlord giving me a good reference

If you've got to the end many thanks and thanks for any advice you can give

I think a trip to your local CAB might help you find out where you stand.

I would try and get housed by the council, at least then you will have security (they won't chuck you out if your ds has a melt down) plus you may get housed in a flat rather than a house (less chance of people complaining about your ds). If your landlord kicks you out then the council will house you (referance or no referance).

Good luck xx

I'm going to ring the local CAB on monday and see what they say. Also i'm taking the official letter to the CAHMS appointment we have on thurs.
Just cant believe how much it has stressed me out now and i'm panicking the council wont touch us because its classed as antisocial behaviour

I've been trawling the net for hours trying to see what rights we have but its a mine field out there!!!

I suggest you ring the Shelter helpline as they are really really knowledgeable and will help advocate for you with the local council.

Its not antisocial behaviour if it is SN related. You need and are entitled to apropriate housing for your DS' needs which atm you do not have.

In the mean time can you tie something around the handles of your doors, from one handle to the other around the catch or buy some anti slam foamy things which fit on the doors. I have done this and it does stop the doors from being slammed.
Sorry re read that and it sounds wierd but don't know how to word it better.
