For his Keyworker.

I want to write it as if he is saying it, but I am not very good with words. I want to say that both DS and I reallta ppreciate all the hard work she has put in to help him this year.

I sent our nursery manager a sunflower in a pot with a message from DS2 saying "thank you for helping me grow".

I could have written an essay as she has done so much for him but I think she'd have cringed.

I sent a thank you card recently on ds's behalf. Could you ask your ds what he would like to write?

Ds's read 'thank you for doing fun stuff with me' (his words)

I think its hard to write a card, as if its from a child thanking someone for all their hard work etc, as ds would never even think of the work involved! I think the fact you have given a card shows you really appreciate everything they have done.

DS doesnt have the the language so I couldnt ask him.

I dont want to do anything to big, as his Keyworker is quite shy and I dont want to embarass her, plus he isnt leaving - she will see him next month.

I wanted to put 'Mummy and Me want to say a big thank you for everything you have done' but I dont think that sounds quite right.

How about 'Mummy and me want to say a big thank you for all your help and support'?

(ds also drew a little picture in his card, as he didnt do any of the writing)

'Mummy and Me want to say a big thank you for everything you have done' but I dont think that sounds quite right

why not? I think it's perfect.

I think it's fine too, I recieved a card for one of my keyworker group today and it made me cry. It just said thankyou for all you have done to help X this year. He has come a HUGELY long way this year and is moving on to school nursery.

I think your 'Mummy and me...' idea is perfect; go for it.

I received a lovely card today - it was from a child with ASD and his mum (I've been covering his class a day or two per week since March) and she wrote "Dear Mrs SE13, thank you for all your kindness and support, it's been a great help and X has really benefitted. Love from X and X's mum's name."

It made my day/week/term.
