Anyone knows how a PSP or IBP would be written for someone with a disability? Also I was told each county has their own PSP's policy - tried googling but can't find any details for my LEA.

Have you thought about applying for a Statement instead?. I would actually look into obtaining one of these documents personally from the LEA rather than have a PSP which sounds good but can mean very little.

www.ipsea.org.uk have model letters you can use. Anything short of a statement as well is not legally binding.

thanks lisa. will be helpful.

Attila, we have a statement. The PSP is, we think, to show they have done everything so they can start excluding otherwise it will be an illegal exclusion.

Went for the initial meeting and part of the plan was that my ds will get a negative if he says no to starting his work when asked. This is a child with limited communications - won't be able to ask them to explain, or say he can't understand etc - just no but school wants to take that away.

Also want him to not shout in class - he does that a lot when anxious, excited. Also he has no control of volume.

Asked autism advisory worker if she had some ASD PSP and IBP to show me and she, rightly, said they were all confidential and there are no models.

Thanks for help.
