Why do they shred notes?

Had a psp meeting on Tuesday but because of various concerns etc, I said I wanted to think about meeting before signing consent. On Weds morning, PSP teacher emailed me plan and said she wasn't she she could proceed without consent. I emailed back saying, please be patient as I have to consider exactly what it entailed etc. Later that morning, I emailed her asking some questions and asking for her notes on observation on my ds on Tues. Later, she emailed me saying becuase I did not sign the consent form on Tuesday, she shredded her notes - but my ds had a positive session.

Why did she do that so soon after the meeting? Is she trying to hide something? Why did she not reproduce a set of notes from memory to send to me? Am I being paranoid in thinking they are trying to push me into being unreasonable?

Any advice please?

Yes - would it be worth asking her to retain the shreds please as if you do consent in due course, she may need to re-constitute the document?

(u know I'm only joking BTW)

thanks for suggestions. yes, msl, I thought that was a good and serious suggestion. I shall ask her if she has written a report and ask for a copy.
