It seems a bit irrational really as I have seem him many times over the last 18 months but I am particularly nervous about this visit as it is a re assessment.
To cut a long story short DD had speech delay (including understanding) which affected her behaviour.
She has had speech therapy and support in school full time in nursery and 15 hours / week in Reception.
However she has been reassessed recently by SALT who say she is now only borderline which in itself is obviously a relief. She has settled loads into school and is making some progress. I am worried now I suppose as he is coming to assess what SENs are left and what to do about it.
Any suggestions of what to do to prepare myself for this meeting? Am I worrying about nothing?

Borderline what??

The Ed Psych is a resource for you to use.
Consider how she/he can best do that.

Any report written?
Go through it compiling list of things you need further explanations or justifications of.

Do you have questions of your own?
Make a list and go through it with them.

Borderline being that her speech was now only just behind where it should be as opposed to practically non existant!
I am not exactly sure of what an ed psych does moondog - could you tell me more? Thanks
She has never been statemented as they decided that the SALT report was enough for the time being.
The problem is I don't really know what sort of questions to be asking.

What do Ed Psychs do??
Hmm, good question, one I ask myself a lot (I'm a salt).

They generally don't statement many people at all these days, so that means nothing.

What concerns you?
Are there learning/attention issues?

What concerns him and how deos he think it should be addressed?
