Are Rompa blankets any good?

I have a bright ds with aspergers who often needs what he calls "a big hug" ie full body hug - often while out in shops etc!

I am wondering if these are any good, worth the money etc. I am thinking one might be useful in his room to help calm him when he gets distressed.

What do you think?
Have any of you got one?

I don't have a rompa blanket, but I use a weighted blanket from Blankets-2-go to calm DS when he is distressed - he is 5 with AS. It was expensive but it definitely helps him. He now gets it himself when he is feeling overloaded. I have a smaller lap pad that I provided for school for the same purpose.

Sorry Yurt, just realised its weight-2-go not blankets to go. I ordered mine directly from them rather than from ebay and then I could customise them. Try the linkwww.weight2goblankets.co.uk

Im going to try one of these weighted blankets when I get some money through:

cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=2902703520 79

in case you cant get that link try ebay seller madetosew

I was recommended this by an Asperger forum.
There is also a website called dreamcatcher blankets which make the same sort of thing.
