Talking to preschoolers about classmates with SEN

My preschooler has recently started asking about why a child with SEN at her nusery is treated differently to others in her class. She's normally asking about support and adjustments he has in place, as - in the nature of young children - I don't think she has actually noticed that he behaves a bit differently to other children of similar age, or just accepting of it. It seems to be more that she perceives his 1:1, special name tag label for his coat hook etc as not entirely fair, or possibly just worth asking for an explanation about.

Can anyone advise on what are age appropriate and sensitive explanations?

Thanks for any thoughts.

She sounds very able and observant too. I’d just be quite general and say things like some children need more help than others. Billy needs some symbols to help him to understand what’s happening next, Betty can’t sit on the carpet as long as everyone else etc.
Go with the same but different theme. Maybe buy or borrow some picture books with children with additional needs just to add to her collection.

Just an example of a book. There will be others on JKP and you can always ask at the library
