I ordered the form on the 10/11/2025 and returned the form on the 24/11/2025 and received a payment backdate of £1226.40 on the 3/1/26. Is this high rate care and mobility or am I wrong ??

Can you double check the amount paid and the date you called for the form?

HRC/HRM doesn’t fit because the weekly HRC/HRM amount is £187.45 (£110.40 + 77.05). 7 weeks of that is £1,312.15. Plus £10 Christmas bonus. If it is 7 weeks of HRC/HRM, you have been under paid if you have been paid £1,226.40.

But neither do 7 weeks at HRC/LRM (Weekly amount of £110.40 + £29.2 = £139.60 and £139.60 x 7 = £977.20) or MRC/HRM (Weekly amount of £73.90 + £77.05 = £150.95 and £150.95 x 7 = £1,056.65) fit. Plus £10 Christmas bonus.

They don’t normally pay part weeks backpay. Normally, the award begins on the Wednesday after you called (so in your case the 12/11/25) and then backpay is paid until the Tuesday on or before the date you are paid the backpay (so in your case the 30/12/25) Any time between that Tuesday and when your receive backpay is accounted for in the normal ongoing payments. That means in your case you should receive 7 weeks backpay.

Besides, it still doesn’t add up even if it is 6 weeks plus some days of HRC/HRM.

6 weeks of HRC/HRM is £187.45 x 6 = £1,124.70.

The daily calculation looks like the following:
The daily rate is £187.45 / 7 = £26.78 (rounded to nearest pence)

1 day is £26.78 x 1 ‎ = £26.78
2 days are £26.78 x 2 = £53.56
3 days are £26.78 x 3 = £80.34
4 days are 26.78 x 4 = £107.12

So 6 weeks 3 days is £1,124.70 + £80.34 = £1,205.04
And 6 weeks 4 days is £1,124.70 + £107.12 = £1,231.82

As you can see, they still don’t add up to £1,226.40 before or after accounting for the Christmas bonus.

Also sorry for the incorrect amount it’s £1266.40

I don’t know. That’s why I asked you to recheck the amount/dates. I can’t make those dates/that amount fit any combination. Wait for the letter then work out what you should have been paid. It may be you have been paid the wrong amount. It happens.

£1266.40 is 9 weeks of HRC/LRM with the £10 Christmas bonus.
£110.40 + £29.20 ‎ = £139.60
£139.60 x 9 ‎ = £1,256.40
Plus £10 bonus.
However, that doesn’t work with your dates if you called for the form on 10/11.

Even if part weeks were paid, it also still doesn’t add up even if it is 6 weeks plus some days of HRC/HRM.
Expanding the calculations in my previous post becuase of the increased figure paid.
6 weeks of HRC/HRM is £187.45 x 6 = £1,124.70.
The daily rate is £187.45 / 7 = £26.78 (rounded to nearest pence)
5 days are £26.78 x 5 = £133.90
6 days are £26.78 x 6 = £160.68
So 6 weeks 5 days is less than £1266.40 but 6 weeks 5 day is more than £1266.40
