How to keep dn head safe in the bath

My neice has cerebral palsy. She is 10 years old and has recently got an amazing bath that's remote controlled . It has almost a bed in it that goes up or down into the water. But she doesnt have strength in her neck muscles so my ds has to hold her head up out of the water but at the same time wash her body including legs and feet. She's getting longer now so its getting more difficult and her head is heavy.
Is there anything anyone can suggest to prop her head out of the water? Im thinking almost a foam block? I think it would be comfier for her and my sister who's back is hurting a lot. I just want to help them when I can't be there to physically help

Thanks in advance.

DN needs a bath seat. There are loads of different types. We have tried a least a couple of dozen to fine ‘the one’ for DS1 (slightly different in that he can hold his head up but needs postural support). If DN’s OT hasn’t recommended one, your sister should ask directly.

The bath seat can go on the rising/lowering platform within the bath.

You say your DS’s back is hurting, is the new bath also a rise and fall bath? If so, the height adjustable nature of it should help with the back pain.
